Call 07765 274401 anytime, 9-5, for a free 5 minute chat to find out how Nutritional Therapy could help you.
Before your first appointment you will be sent a health questionnaire which you will need to fill in (in the case of children (0-15) the parent/guardian will need to complete the form) and send back to me at least 3 days before we meet, so I can assess your nutritional status before the initial consultation. The first consultation takes approximately 90 minutes (60 minutes for children) and will result in a individually tailored action plan for you, with changes to your diet and lifestyle that may help with your specific health issues. An iridology assessement is included where necessary.
In some cases, short term supplementation is necessary to help rectify any underlying nutrient and vitamin imbalances. These will be prescribed for a specific amount of time and details of how to obtain the supplements will be provided.
Recipes and further information will also be provided where appropriate.
I offer email and telephone support in between consultation in order to answer any questions you have or help with any problems you are having incorporating the changes into your life.
At least one follow up consultation is recommended to help maximise the effect of the treatment. As your symptom experience can change throughout treatment, a follow up consultation, that lasts approximately 45 minutes (or 30 minutes for children), is helpful in order to address any changes in symptoms. These follow ups can be done on the telephone if you have trouble meeting in person.
Iridology
Iridology is essentially a diagnostic tool which aids a nutritional consultation, but it can be used on its own. A lens will be used to magnify your iris, allowing the fibre structure to become visible. The lens does not touch the eye and is held a couple of centimetres from the eye. It is a completely pain free experience.
An assessment will be done, which takes around 30 minutes, to ascertain the different structures, marks and deposits in the eye. In light of these findings, tailored nutritional and lifestyle guidelines will be compiled, in order for you to manage your health and maximise your potential wellbeing.
